Meet Swissturn/USA!

Over the years, I have had the privilege to represent a number of companies who were among the best at what they do. I am very proud to announce that I’ve added another to that list.

Starting today, Swissturn/USA out of Oxford MA has appointed R.W. Rundle Associates as their Manufacturer’s Representative to the Mid-Atlantic region. Swissturn/USA is an employee-owned Swiss screw machine shop that specializes in precision machining of metal and plastic components under 1-1/4 inch diameter (32 mm).

Common materials for Swissturn/USA are brass, tellurium copper, aluminum, 300 and 400 series stainless steels, steel, and a variety of plastics.

They often hold outside diameter tolerances of +/-.0002″ (.005 mm). For closer tolerances, they will grind the final diameters.

Their largest machine has a stroke of 8″, but they can double chuck to make longer parts if needed.

Other internal capabilities that they have are thread rolling, centerless grinding, honing, and lapping. They can do jobs that require assembly work and those that need special packaging.
